Adidas Joins Leather Working Group Board with Catherine Lee as Representative

Adidas has been elected to the Leather Working Group (LWG) board, with Catherine Lee representing the company in a key leadership role. The appointment will take effect from April 1, 2026, and marks a shift in board membership as Jon Hopper of VF Corporation steps down after 8 years.

Catherine Lee currently serves as Senior Director of Product Development at adidas. She brings strong experience in sourcing operations and material development, especially in aligning sustainability goals with regulatory needs and business execution. Her entry signals adidas’ deeper involvement in the leather industry’s sustainability and compliance efforts.

At the same time, the LWG acknowledged the contribution of Jon Hopper, Senior Director, Global Materials Supply at VF Corporation. He served on the board for 8 years and played a key role in supporting LWG’s mission and growth during his tenure.

LWG thanked Hopper for his time, expertise and commitment, highlighting his impact on advancing industry standards and collaboration.
