Apex group chairman and former government advisor Syed Manzur Elahi has passed away at the age of 83. He breathed his last in a Singapore hospital in the early hours of March 12 after battling age-related health issues.

Syed Manzur Elahi was a well-respected figure in the business world, known for his leadership as the chairman of Apex Group. Over the years, he played a key role in shaping the industrial landscape, particularly in the leather and footwear sectors.
