Explosion in Leather Industrial Zone in Turkey

An unexpected explosion shook the treatment plant on Kumpas Street inside the Leather Organized Industrial Zone in Turkey Last week on 24th April 2025.

The incident happened around 4:01 PM. As soon as the alarm was raised, fire teams from Tuzla OSB, Dudullu, Tuzla Sahil, and Orhanlı rushed to the scene and controlled it before it could spread further.

According to local officials, four people were injured due to the blast. Firefighters managed to rescue them from the site, and they were immediately taken to the hospital by medical crews.
