Italy and Mongolia have taken a major step to strengthen their leather industries with a new cooperation deal signed at the Po.Te.Co. technology hub in Santa Croce sull Arno, Italy.
The agreement was signed by Fabrizio Nuti who is the President of UNIC Concerie Italiane and Davaasuren Ariunbold who is the President of the Mongolian Association of Leather Industry.
Leaders and experts from both countries attended the event showing strong interest in deeper industry ties.
The deal will run for 2 years with the option to renew. It focuses on training, research and development.
The goal is to help workers specialists and technicians upgrade their skills while pushing for global level certification standards that improve quality traceability and environmental responsibility.
The partnership also encourages both countries to join fairs workshops and joint events. This will allow Italian and Mongolian companies to share trends learn from each other and build stronger business to business cooperation.

He added that the protocol will help companies access new knowledge technologies and markets which can drive innovation and sustainable growth.
