KICL Partners with Italy’s Accademia IUAD to Launch Footwear & Fashion Accessories Training Center in Tamil Nadu

Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Italy’s Accademia IUAD (Institute of Universal Art and Design) to set up a joint venture in India. This move is aimed at creating a world-class training center in Tamil Nadu.

The center will focus first on footwear and fashion accessories. Over time it may expand to other areas connected with IUAD’s educational portfolio.

Students and professionals will receive specialized training and education in design fashion and related fields through structured programs.

This partnership brings together Accademia IUAD’s academic expertise and Kothari Industrial Corporation’s business strengths. Both sides expect the collaboration to boost skill development and open new career opportunities for young talent in the sector.

This tie-up is a significant step toward building a skilled workforce for India’s growing fashion and footwear industry and could help position Tamil Nadu as a hub for global-standard design education.
