Leather Industry Mourns Loss of LSSC CEO Sanjay Kumar

Sanjay Kumar, CEO of the Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC), passed away unexpectedly after battling a blood infection since January, according to colleagues. He was known for his vision and dedication in building the skill ecosystem for the sector and providing meaningful employment to thousands of youth.

Kumar played a key role in strengthening training and skill development initiatives across the leather industry. Under his leadership, LSSC became a guiding force for creating opportunities for young talent and ensuring the sector had skilled professionals ready for the workforce.
