The 11th Leathertech Bangladesh 2025 has wrapped up in Dhaka after three days of buzz, business talks and big hopes for the future of the leather industry between 4 – 6 December 2025.
The event took place at Expo Village inside the International Convention City Bashundhara where global companies displayed the latest machinery chemicals accessories and materials for leather and footwear manufacturing.
Bangladesh Investment Development Authority Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun opened the fair saying the country is ready to unlock its true potential in leather.
Leaders from Bangladesh, China, India and Pakistan joined the inauguration including Syed Nasim Manzur President of the Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh.

If we can strengthen the right connections between our country and neighboring economies technological development within the leather sector will progress even faster.”

Nearly 200 exhibitors from 8 countries joined the show according to Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan Managing Director of ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd the organiser of the event.
The fair remained open for business visitors from 11am to 7pm with free entry which helped draw strong local industry participation.
The show is now over but the message is loud and clear. Bangladesh wants to become a global force in leather & footwear and industry leaders believe the journey has only just begun.
