The blaze destroyed materials and machinery kept inside the factory. Six fire tenders from Karnal were deployed and brought the fire under control after nearly three and a half hours. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

According to workers, the fire started around 10 a.m. They immediately called 112 to alert the police and fire department. District Deputy Fire Officer Randeep said his team reached the site by 10:30 a.m. and managed to douse the flames by 1:30 p.m.

Around ten employees were working in the factory when the fire broke out.
