Mindhive Global, a company known for its AI-powered leather quality assessment technology, has raised Series A funding led by agritech venture capital firm Cultivate Ventures, with strong participation from existing investors.
The new investment will help Mindhive roll out its full range of leather intelligence solutions across major international markets.
The funding marks another milestone for the company following a year of impressive growth. Mindhive’s team has expanded from 8 to 37 members across four countries.
It has also set up operations in nine nations and formed key partnerships, including one with JBS Couros.
“Mindhive represents exactly the type of transformative agritech investment we seek deep technology solving fundamental problems in a traditional global industry.”
– Marcus Henderson, Investment Director at Cultivate Ventures
Mindhive’s technology replaces the traditional manual leather inspection process, which has remained unchanged for centuries, with precision AI-driven grading.
The system can analyze and verify hide quality data in just seconds. Its growing suite of products now covers every stage of leather production from wet-blue grading to finished leather selection allowing manufacturers to cut waste, improve efficiency and make better production decisions based on verified data rather than personal judgment.
With this Series A round, Mindhive plans to accelerate its global expansion, focusing on Brazil, Europe and key markets across Asia.
The company aims to strengthen its role in driving the leather industry’s transition toward a more data-driven, efficient and sustainable manufacturing future.
