Primeasia has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Ecco Indonesia to produce its leathers at Ecco’s facility in Surabaya, Indonesia. The move aims to strengthen local production and improve service for customers in the region.
The Surabaya facility will give Primeasia better production capacity and closer access to customers. This helps reduce delivery time and improves flexibility in operations.
Primeasia’s procurement and technical teams will support the facility by handling raw material sourcing and setting chemical specifications.
This agreement builds on Primeasia’s earlier investment in Indonesia, including its Jakarta logistics center set up in 2024.
The company said in its Q1 2026 Newsletter that this step strengthens its focus on security of supply by adding local manufacturing to its existing infrastructure.
The new setup will enable local for local delivery of high-quality leather to customers across Indonesia.
“As we enter the second half of 2026, we are extremely excited to expand into our third region of production through our new cooperation with ECCO in Indonesia. ECCO represents a like-minded partner that shares our values and our strong commitment to serving footwear customers with quality, integrity and value.”
