Chemicals group Pulcra has confirmed the appointment of Claus Reineking as its new global commercial director for leather.
Reineking takes over the role from Ramon Segura, who retired this autumn after spending more than four decades with the group.
Reineking joins Pulcra after more than four years as managing director at Langro-Chemie, where he led the company from July 2021 until October 2025.
He brings over three decades of experience across technical, product management and leadership roles within the global leather chemicals sector.
Prior to Langro-Chemie, Reineking spent over seven years at Stahl, where he progressed through several senior positions.
These included global product manager for wet-end chemicals and dyes, global technical manager for leather and later global technical director for leather between 2019 and 2021.
Before joining Stahl, Reineking was with Clariant for 14 years, serving as PL manager and head of product management for wet-end chemicals one of the longest tenures of his career.
Earlier roles include technical management positions at ECCO Leather in Indonesia and technical sales and services roles at Smit & Zoon in the Netherlands.
With his appointment, Pulcra strengthens its commercial leadership by combining deep technical expertise with long-standing global industry exposure at a time when leather manufacturers are increasingly focused on performance, efficiency and sustainability driven innovation.
