Sanjay Leekha Takes Over as Leather Sector Skill Council Chairman

A leadership change took place at the Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC) during its 36th Governing Council Meeting.

Shri Mukhtarul Amin formally stepped down from his role as Chairman of LSSC after completing his term. The transition happened during the meeting in the presence of council members and invited guests.

Mr Sanjay Leekha who is the Managing Director of Alpine Apparels Private Limited and former Chairman Council for Leather Exports (CLE) has taken charge as the new Chairman of LSSC. His appointment marks a new phase for the council as it continues its work in skill development for the leather sector.

The occasion was witnessed by Shri P R Aqeel Ahmed former Chairman of LSSC and LSSC CEO Sanjay Kumar along with other dignitaries who were present at the meeting.
