Sri Lanka Footwear and Leather Fair 2025 Concludes Today

Today marks the final day the 15th Footwear & Leather Fair 2025, held between 6-9 Feb, 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, Sri Lanka which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is renowned for producing a diverse range of modern footwear, including designs for both men and women, rubber boots, beach slippers, safety shoes, sports footwear, and canvas shoes. Many of these products are supplied to high-end international brands, highlighting the country’s reputation for quality and design.

In addition to footwear, the fair also highlighted high-quality leather and leather goods such as gloves, travel bags, backpacks, ladies’ handbags, jackets, and small leather items. These products cater to niche international markets, with Sri Lankan manufacturers supplying many renowned global brands.

Several CIFI Allied Industries members are exhibiting their products, representing India’s expertise and innovation in the sector. Special appreciation to Alok Jain and his team for their dedicated efforts in making this participation possible.

This fair is the pinnacle event in Sri Lanka held every year for the Footwear and Leather Sector and this year displays their products in 260 stalls and large number of Importers, Traders, Designers, Wholesalers and Agents, Brand Owners, Industrialists and the General Public were present during the fair.
