Suresh P S, Vertical Head of the Footwear Business at Tata International Limited, has been elected as the new President of the Indian Shoe Federation (ISF) for the term 2025–27 during its 33rd Annual General Meeting held on September 20.
Expressing his gratitude, Suresh said he was deeply honored by the trust placed in him by the members and past leaders of the federation.
He pledged to lead the organization with humility, service and collaboration while focusing on the industry’s growth and global recognition.
In his acceptance speech, Suresh introduced a four-pillar agenda that will guide his leadership over the next two years.
These pillars include innovation through R&D and technology adoption, sustainability with a focus on green processes and circularity, global competitiveness by strengthening Brand India and expanding into new markets and training and inclusivity through skill development, credit support and market linkages for MSMEs.
Suresh also emphasized the importance of collective effort among ISF members, component suppliers and associated industries to elevate the reputation of Indian-made footwear worldwide.

Under his leadership, the Indian Shoe Federation is expected to take strategic steps to enhance innovation, sustainability and global competitiveness in the Indian footwear sector.
