Uzbekistan-Pakistan Leather Trade Plans Take Shape

Uzbekistan and Pakistan are taking a clear step forward to deepen cooperation in the leather industry with talks now shifting from discussion to execution.

During an official visit to Pakistan the Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association held working meetings with the management of Hawk Fire Industries in Sialkot.

The focus was simple and practical. How Uzbek leather raw materials can enter the Pakistani market and how both sides can jointly produce and export finished leather products.

The talks covered key issues that matter on the ground. This included raw material quality, finished product standards, supply volumes and logistics routes between the two countries. Both sides looked at how to make trade smoother and faster without adding cost.

The meetings ended with a clear outcome. Uzbekistan and Pakistan agreed to move cooperation into a practical phase by setting up direct business links and preparing export contracts in the next stage.
