Vietnam exported $518 million worth of goods to Indonesia in November 2025, marking a 10.24% rise from October, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
So far this year Vietnam has exported $5.25 billion worth of goods to Indonesia.
However, textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries tell a different story.
November exports for this segment fell to $32.1 million from $40.9 million in October, a drop of 21.41%. Year to date (YTD) exports in this category stand at $381.89 million.
Footwear exports performed better. Vietnam shipped $10.78 million in November up from $8.91 million in October, an increase of 21.04%. YTD exports for footwear reached $117.04 million.
Vietnam and Indonesia have steadily built their trade relationship through bilateral agreements that support economic cooperation and market access.
Over time they have expanded frameworks covering goods services and investment to strengthen supply-chain links and promote balanced trade flows.
Their cooperation has grown through joint committees sector-specific agreements and regional commitments under ASEAN that deepen commercial integration.
