WWF Pakistan Leads the Charge for Sustainable Leather Practices Through Student Engagement

Students at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) recently participated in a session on sustainability in Pakistan’s leather industry. The discussion centered on traceability, cleaner production, and circular economy practices to address environmental challenges.

Led by WWF Pakistan and supported by The SMEP Programme with technical input from UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the initiative aims to make the leather sector more eco-friendly and globally competitive.
