Zschimmer & Schwarz Mexico has opened its new Technical Center and Warehouse in León marking a major step in its long term commitment to the country’s leather industry.
The inauguration brought together more than 70 guests including key customers and senior international leaders. The mood was upbeat with many calling the move a strong signal for the future of Mexican leather manufacturing.
The new center is built as a hands on space where customers and company specialists can work side by side. The goal is simply to create real solutions for the challenges leather makers face today.
The site carries the spirit of the company’s motto “Chemistry tailor-made” while showing its focus on staying close to customers through innovation.
With modern testing labs and application stations the facility allows faster development and on site trials. It also supports both the wet end line from Zschimmer & Schwarz and the finishing range from Samia.
The center will also act as a training hub offering workshops plus support on process improvement and product use.
