Pritzker Private Capital (PPC), a well-known leader in family direct investing, has officially signed an agreement to acquire Buckman, a family-owned company specializing in water treatment and industrial process solutions.
This strategic acquisition will see PPC investing alongside members of the Buckman family and management team, ensuring additional resources for growth, product innovation, and market expansion. Buckman’s existing leadership, including CEO Junai Maharaj, will continue to guide the company post-acquisition.
Founded in 1945 by Stanley Buckman, the company has remained under family ownership for nearly 80 years. Buckman has built a strong reputation for serving global industrial giants with cutting-edge solutions in water processing, paper, leather chemicals and packaging recycling.
Operating six manufacturing hubs and employing over 1,300 professionals worldwide, Buckman provides services to customers in more than 90 countries.

While the terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the acquisition is expected to close in Q2 of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions. Evercore served as the financial advisor for Buckman throughout the process.
