C&A to Eliminate Leather from Its Product Line by 2024

C&A to Eliminate Leather from Its Product Line by 2024

C&A has announced a major update to its animal welfare policy, banning all forms of leather and newly plucked down from its product line starting in 2024.

C&A is a global fashion retailer known for offering affordable clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.

The new policy, which takes effect fully by July 2025, builds on C&A’s commitment to ethical sourcing as a Fur Free Retailer since 2016.

This change means the brand will no longer use full-grain, top-grain, genuine, or bonded leather, nor newly plucked down from any birds.

The updated policy includes a one-year transition period to help suppliers adapt to the ban and support sustainable alternatives.
