Leather Naturally Appoints Dr Kerry Senior to Management Board

Leather Naturally has named Dr Kerry Senior, Director of Leather UK, to its Management Board, effective immediately. This follows a member vote in December 2024.

Dr Senior has been Director of Leather UK since 2013, overseeing initiatives such as the PR program to promote leather’s sustainability and challenging industry misconceptions.

Notable achievements include a UK consumer survey in collaboration with Leather Naturally and the Institute for Creative Leather Technology.

His prior experience includes nine years with the BLC Leather Technology Centre, leading environmental research projects. Dr Senior also serves as Secretary of the International Council of Tanners and holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Kent.

Dr Senior replaces Debbie Burton, and Dr Luis Zugno, Chair of the Board, welcomed the appointment, saying:

“We are delighted to welcome Kerry to the Leather Naturally Management Board. Kerry’s extensive knowledge and experience in the leather industry will be invaluable as we continue to advance our organization’s goals and increase our collaborative work with other organizations”

Dr Luis Zugno, Chair of the Board
