6th Delhi International Leather Expo DILEX 2025 Taking Place on February 20 and 21

The much-anticipated 6th edition of the Delhi International Leather Expo (DILEX) is set to take place on February 20 and 21, 2025, at the India International Convention and Expo Center (IICC), also known as Yashobhoomi, in Dwarka, New Delhi. Organized by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) with support from the Government of India under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme, this premier event is a major platform for Indian leather businesses to connect with global buyers.

Building on the success of previous editions, the 6th DILEX promises to be even larger and more impactful. With 200 Indian exhibitors expected to participate, the event aims to attract 225-250 foreign buyers from key markets such as Europe, the USA, the UAE, and Australia.

Additionally, the event will draw buying houses and agents from across India, creating an unmatched networking opportunity for exhibitors.

CLE has reserved Hall 1B, spanning approximately 3,500 square meters, to accommodate the growing interest in the event. Indian businesses specializing in various leather products are encouraged to participate and make the most of this rare opportunity to meet international buyers and brands without leaving India.

Exhibitors at the 6th DILEX will display a wide range of products, including:

  • Leather Footwear (Shoes, Sandals, Chappals for men, women, and children)
  • Leather Garments (Jackets, pants, motorbike gear)
  • Leather Goods & Accessories (Handbags, belts, pouches)
  • Non-Leather Footwear
  • Footwear Components
  • Kolhapuri Chappals
  • Finished Leather
  • Industrial and Safety Products (Safety shoes, gloves, tool kits)
  • Leather Toys and Handicrafts

To make the event more accessible to emerging businesses, CLE offers a special participation fee of ₹31,000 plus 18% GST for a 9 sq. meter built-up booth for startups that are CLE members.

Booths will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, with fully built-up spaces available in sizes ranging from 9 sq. meters to 36 sq. meters.

Participants will also enjoy several complimentary benefits, including:

  • Free listing in the exhibitors’ catalog and promotional materials.
  • Necessary display items like hangers and hooks.
  • Exposure through the event’s official website and marketing efforts.

The 5th edition of DILEX, held in March 2024, saw impressive outcomes, with 165 Indian exhibitors and over 125 foreign buyers participating. Approximately 950 one-to-one meetings were conducted, resulting in business deals.

Feedback from exhibitors highlighted their satisfaction with the quality of buyers and the event’s overall success.

The 6th edition aims to surpass these achievements, with increased participation and a broader scope. It offers Indian businesses a unique chance to strengthen their global presence and secure lucrative contracts.
