Hong Fu Set to Begin Construction of New Footwear Plant in Tamil Nadu Confirms Minister

Dr. TRB Rajaa, Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce, Government of Tamil Nadu, India recently visited the Hong Fu factory in Haiphong, Vietnam. Hong Fu is a well-known footwear manufacturer from Taiwan. During his visit, he got a close look at how the company operates and the detailed steps involved in making shoes.

The minister said the factory was full of activity and energy. He encouraged the company to move quickly with their plans to set up a unit in Tamil Nadu. The good news is, all necessary approvals are already in place.

According to the minister, construction of the new facility in Tamil Nadu will begin very soon.

The minister also made a special request to Hong Fu’s leadership to consider further expanding their operations in the state. This move could bring more jobs and investments to Tamil Nadu’s growing footwear sector.
