At INNOPROM‑2025 in Yekaterinburg, Uzbekistan’s Uzcharmsanoat Association held talks with leading Russian firms to boost cooperation in leather and chemical production.

Delegates met with Polyplast Group to discuss supplying inorganic compounds, stabilizers, and reagents vital for leather processing. Both sides agreed to share technical data and arrange trial shipments.

Financial support also took center stage in talks with Absolutbank. The bank promised settlement services, credit lines, and guarantees to help Uzbek exporters trade safely in Russia.

Uzcharmsanoat representatives highlighted plans to expand finished leather and footwear exports across Russian regions. They stressed the growing demand for eco‑friendly products and proposed joint manufacturing ventures.

These discussions reflect Uzbekistan’s drive to modernize its leather sector and tap into Russia’s vast market.
