Tanner Leatherstein Joins Stow London as Director of Craftsmanship in Strategic Partnership

Volkan Yilmaz, known online as Tanner Leatherstein, has joined British luxury bag brand Stow London as director of craftsmanship and shareholding partner.

Stow, founded in 2013 by Carol Lovell, gained Volkan’s attention when he reviewed one of their bags eight months ago. He praised the design, quality and materials, calling it the “best value luxury bag of 2024.”

Following his video, sales spiked and the two decided to team up. Volkan will now lead product development, material selection and digital storytelling. He plans to share behind-the-scenes content monthly.

He believes the market is shifting from big luxury brands to smaller labels with real value.

“You don’t need investment of millions, and that’s what’s happening. Hundreds of new brands will take a piece of the pie lost by the luxury labels.”

Volkan will continue to run his U.S.-based brand Pegai as a niche label while helping Stow expand to a broader audience.
