MICAM and MIPEL Welcomed 20362 Visitors in Milan

Milan saw two of the most important global events for fashion footwear and leather accessories close on 9 September 2025 at Fieramilano Rho.

MICAM, the world’s leading fashion footwear fair, and MIPEL, the international exhibition for leather goods and fashion accessories, welcomed 20,362 visitors with 57% coming from abroad and 43% from Italy.

Visitors came from 126 countries with strong numbers from Spain, Germany, France, Poland, China, Japan, Nigeria and South Africa.

This turnout showed the power of trade fairs in creating real business opportunities which was further strengthened by holding both events at the same time.

More than 1000 brands presented their Spring Summer 2026 collections combining Italian creativity with international proposals.

MICAM and MIPEL continue to move forward together as strategic reference points for their industries despite current economic and political uncertainties and despite being held earlier than usual compared to their traditional dates alongside Fashion Link Milan.

The September edition was also a celebration of MICAM’s 100th edition. The exhibition “100 Steps Into The Future” traced MICAM’s journey from its beginnings in Vigevano in 1931 to today.

The next editions MICAM 101 and MIPEL 129 will take place at Fiera Milano Rho from 22 to 24 February 2026.
