Arvind Limited Invests ₹350 Crore to Set Up Aspire Footwear Factory in Vellore Creating 6000 Jobs

Tamil Nadu’s Vellore district is stepping into the spotlight as a major hub for footwear manufacturing with the launch of the Aspire Footwear project by Arvind Limited.

Valued at INR 350 crore (~USD 40 Million) this ambitious initiative was officially launched on September 11, 2025 during the Hosur Conclave.

The event was marked by the foundation stone being laid by Hon’ble Chief Minister MK Stalin showing the state government’s strong support for the region’s growth.

The project aims to create 6,000 jobs offering a significant employment boost for the local community.
