Scottish Leather Group Releases 22nd Annual ESG Report

Scottish Leather Group is setting new benchmarks in sustainability as it works towards a lower-carbon future. Their latest 22nd annual ESG Report shows strong progress and innovation in environmentally responsible leather production.

The company aims to reduce Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 100% by the end of 2025. Waste management is also a major focus, with 94% of waste now recycled or recovered each week, up from 89% last year.

Scottish Leather Group highlights several sustainability achievements including zero deforestation, 100% traceability, top-rated animal welfare, lowest life cycle analysis, and sustainable tanning options.

Their innovative BioPRO® seat foam recently earned a nomination for the Earthshot Prize 2025.

The report emphasizes the company’s commitment to circularity and responsible governance. By reporting transparently on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, Scottish Leather Group proves its dedication to producing the world’s lowest carbon leather while supporting global sustainability goals.
