Lineapelle 106, the world’s leading trade fair for luxury, fashion and design manufacturing, wrapped up successfully at Fiera Milano Rho from September 23 to 25, 2025. The event, focused on the Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 season, brought together 21,433 professional visitors and 1,150 exhibitors from across the global supply chain.
Even with a slight dip in attendance due to the current economic slowdown and market challenges, the fair confirmed its position as a key meeting point for leather and fashion industries.
About 59% of attendees were from Italy and 41% from 109 other countries, representing more than 7,000 companies.
Lineapelle 106 hosted interactive projects and debates that explored new frontiers in fashion and materials. The popular In The Making workshops returned, alongside initiatives like AIMateriality and Lineapelle On The Road, both of which focused on the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence in fashion.
A major highlight was the launch of LENA, Lineapelle’s first virtual assistant, developed in partnership with Ingenium Made in Italy Innovation Platform.
Industry experts also participated in scientific and regulatory seminars that tackled pressing issues in the global leather industry, from sustainability to evolving market demands.
“Three satisfying days, as highlighted by the majority of our exhibitors, despite a realistically expected reduction in visitors. In the context of a market still facing severe challenges, LINEAPELLE has shown its ability and strength to establish itself as an indispensable forum for intercepting, discussing, and developing all possible new inputs and production and commercial paradigms that can lead to a season of revival.”
Gianni Russo, President of Lineapelle
Looking ahead, the next edition of Lineapelle will take place from February 11 to 13, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho.
