Gemata S.p.A. has completed a smooth generational handover that has been in motion for more than a year.
The company has named Giulio Mandruzzato as its new CEO. He takes over from Gianni Maitan who guided Gemata for 23 years and helped build its global reputation in leather finishing machinery.
The leadership shift is part of a larger plan to strengthen Gemata’s governance as it prepares for future challenges. The company says it will stay rooted in its long standing values of innovation, quality and advanced technology while opening a new phase of growth under Mandruzzato.
Gemata believes this next stage will mix its strong heritage with a sharper focus on modern market needs. Even with the change at the top the company is keeping experience close.
Maitan will stay on as Chairman of the Board of Directors where he will continue to support new technology and innovation projects.
