LWG to Host Key Seminar at India International Leather Fair 2026 on February 1 Book Your Spot Now

Chennai is set to host a major Leather Working Group (LWG) meeting on February 1, 2026 from 2:30pm to 4pm at the India International Leather Fair (IILF) 2026, Chennai Trade Centre. The event promises to give tanneries and industry professionals a clear view of LWG’s work and the benefits of certification.

The seminar will start with an introduction to LWG, its long-term goals and its sustainability vision. Attendees will get the first look at updates to the LWG Standards and learn about new training programs that will help tanneries boost their skills and knowledge directly from LWG experts.

LWG Assurance Services, the official body for certification against LWG Standards, will also explain the audit process and how businesses can get certified in a simple and easy to understand way.
