Belarus Removes Export Duty on Tanned and Crust Leather for 2026 and 2027
Belarus President Alyaksandr Lukashenka

Belarus President Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed an official order on May 4, 2026 to remove export customs duties on tanned leather and crust exported outside the Eurasian Economic Union in 2026-2027. The move aims to increase the competitiveness of Belarus leather in foreign markets and boost sales volumes.

According to the signed order, goods classified under HS codes 4104 (Covers tanned or crust hides/skins of bovine or equine animals, without hair) and 4106 (Covers tanned or crust hides/skins of other animals (goats, swine, reptiles), without hair) of the unified Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity will be exempt from export customs duties when shipped outside the Eurasian Economic Union during 2026 and 2027.
