Al Khaznah Leathers in the UAE signed 2 strategic agreements during Make It in the Emirates 2026 to strengthen industrial localisation, future manufacturing and Emirati craftsmanship in the UAE.

Make It in the Emirates 2026 is hosted by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Culture and Abu Dhabi Investment Office.

The platform brings together manufacturers, investors, innovators, policymakers and buyers to create partnerships, attract investments and support industrial growth in the country.

Al Khaznah Leathers which operates the UAE’s only leather facility with a fully integrated value chain, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ROX (Rox Motor is a Chinese hybrid cars manufacturer headquartered in Shanghai, founded in 2023) to explore opportunities in automotive leather solutions.

The agreement will focus on finished leather, advanced cut parts and precision-engineered components for future mobility applications.

Al Khaznah Leathers also signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Culture to support Emirati craftsmanship, heritage inspired leather products, training initiatives and the integration of traditional leather arts into modern industrial practices.
