Wollsdorf Leder Schmidt & Co, an Austrian leather manufacturer based in Wollsdorf specializing in automotive leather production, filed for bankruptcy in early 2026 due to declining demand in the automotive industry and ongoing supply chain disruptions.
Following the bankruptcy, all the machinery and equipment are being auctioned.
The auction includes a range of tannery machinery and equipment for leather processing, finishing and handling from the Wollsdorf facility.
