DANI S.p.A. has received the ESG Recognition from DNV, becoming the first tannery in Italy to achieve this certification. The official ceremony was held on May 15, 2026 at the Council Hall in Arzignano, marking a key milestone for the company’s sustainability and responsible management efforts.

The event was attended by local authorities, representatives from DNV and the company’s management, who gathered to celebrate a recognition that holds particular significance for the Italian tanning industry.

DANI thus becomes the first Italian tannery to obtain the ESG Recognition from DNV, a certification that highlights the adoption of certified management systems supporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

The relationship between DANI and DNV is based on a nearly thirty year collaboration. The company’s first certification dates back to 1997. Since then, the shared journey has developed through constant commitment to quality, sustainability, safety and innovation.

The ESG Recognition from DNV confirms that the company has certified management systems aligned with key international standards: ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, and ISO 9001 for quality management.

These systems serve as practical tools through which the company structures and continuously improves its operations, integrating ESG principles into industrial and organizational processes.

With this recognition, DANI confirms its intention to continue its journey of sustainable growth, further strengthening its role as a reference point in the national and international tanning sector.
