French luxury fashion house Givenchy has appointed Marco De Vincenzo as head of leather goods design under the creative direction of Sarah Burton as the brand continues its creative reset. The appointment aims to strengthen Givenchy’s leather goods business, one of the company’s key commercial categories.
In his new role at the LVMH-owned luxury brand, De Vincenzo will lead the development of Givenchy’s leather goods category and work closely with Burton to support the company’s wider growth strategy.
Givenchy said the appointment is part of its broader plan to accelerate growth in leather goods, which remains an important segment for the luxury fashion house.
De Vincenzo is well known in the luxury fashion and leather goods industry for his long experience at Italian luxury brand Etro, where he served as creative director from 2022 until earlier this year.
Before Etro, De Vincenzo spent 14 years at Fendi as head of leather goods from 2008 to 2022, building strong experience in luxury handbag and leather accessories design.
Founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy, Givenchy is a French luxury fashion house known for its haute couture, ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, footwear and accessories. The brand now is owned by luxury group LVMH.
