The Kenya Leather Development Council (KLDC) in partnership with the Africa Leather and Leather Products Institute (ALLPI) hosted the Craft to Market program inception meeting, bringing together global designers and selected leather products MSMEs to officially launch a 3 month pilot program in Kenya aimed at helping emerging leather designers turn creative ideas into commercially viable enterprises.

The programme focuses on targeted capacity building to support participants in developing practical skills and improving their ability to generate consistent and sustainable income.

It is designed to guide leather products MSMEs through structured training and exposure that helps them move from design concepts to market-ready products.
