The International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) has announced that its 39th Congress will be held in León, Mexico, in 2027. The event will bring together leather scientists, technologists, researchers, manufacturers, brands, chemical suppliers, machinery experts and sustainability leaders from around the world.

The Association of Leather Chemists and Technologists of León (AQTCL), in coordination with the Chamber of the Tannery Industry of the State of Guanajuato (CICUR), will organize the 39th IULTCS World Congress.
The congress will serve as a global platform for sharing the latest advances in leather science, technology and innovation while encouraging collaboration across the leather value chain.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with global experts, decision makers, universities, brands, tanners and suppliers while exchanging ideas and innovations that can help shape the next generation of leather manufacturing.
