Tapestry Reports $8 Billion in Annual Revenue as Coach Grows 24% While Kate Spade Continues to Decline

Tapestry ended fiscal 2026 with strong growth reporting $8.0 billion in full-year revenue with Coach driving most of the growth while Kate Spade continued to decline.

For the fourth quarter ended June 27 2026 Tapestry reported net sales of $1.88 billion up 9% from the previous year. On a pro forma basis which excludes the impact of the divestiture of Stuart Weitzman revenue increased 12% to $1.88 billion. On a constant currency basis pro forma revenue increased 11%.

For the full year Tapestry reported net sales of $8 billion up 14% from the previous year. On a pro forma basis revenue increased 18% to $7.99 billion or 17% on a constant currency basis.

Coach remained the standout performer. The brand generated $1.64 billion in Q4 revenue up 15% year-on-year and 14% on a constant currency basis. For the full year Coach revenue reached $6.91 billion an increase of 24% or 23% in constant currency.

Kate Spade meanwhile recorded $235.1 million in Q4 revenue down 7% on both a reported and constant currency basis. Full-year revenue stood at $1.07 billion down 10% or 11% in constant currency.

The strong performance at Coach was also reflected in Tapestry’s core leathergoods business particularly handbags. Coach’s handbag average unit retail price increased by around 15% in both Q4 and the full year with growth supported by higher prices and unit sales.

Tapestry also saw an improvement in profitability during the year. Full-year GAAP gross profit reached $6.23 billion compared with $5.29 billion a year earlier while gross margin increased to 77.8% from 75.4%.

Full-year GAAP operating income reached $1.91 billion compared with $415 million a year earlier. Operating margin increased to 23.9% from 5.9%.

For the fourth quarter operating income was $442.3 million compared with an operating loss of $583.5 million a year earlier. GAAP operating margin was 23.6% compared with negative 33.9% in the previous year.

Tapestry saw growth across most of its major markets during the quarter and full year.

North America generated $1.15 billion in Q4 revenue up 7% while full-year revenue reached $5.03 billion an increase of 15%.

Greater China was one of the strongest markets with Q4 revenue rising 33% to $352.2 million. For the full year revenue increased 38% to $1.40 billion or 35% on a constant currency basis. Other Asia generated $109 million in Q4 revenue up 26% while full-year revenue increased 16% to $441.6 million.

Japan was the exception among the major markets with Q4 revenue declining 11% to $105 million and full-year revenue falling 10% to $465.7 million.

Europe also performed strongly with Q4 revenue increasing 22% to $122.6 million and full-year revenue rising 29% to $525.4 million.

The company also continued to attract new customers adding more than 2.5 million new consumers globally in Q4 and approximately 11 million during fiscal 2026. Around 35% of new customers were from Gen Z.

Direct-to-consumer revenue increased 11% in Q4 and 16% for the full year with both digital and store channels contributing to the growth.

Tapestry generated $1.98 billion in operating cash flow during fiscal 2026 and ended the year with $1.15 billion in cash cash equivalents and short-term investments. Inventory stood at $826 million compared with $861 million a year earlier.

Looking ahead Tapestry expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $8.4 billion to $8.5 billion representing mid-single-digit growth.

Overall Tapestry’s fiscal 2026 results point to a strong year for the group with Coach driving growth leathergoods remaining a key part of the business and Greater China and Europe among the strongest-performing markets.
