The Sylex 3 Leather, Footwear and Production Supplies Exhibition has opened in Aleppo, bringing together around 60 Syrian and Turkish companies from the leather and footwear sector. The 3 day exhibition is running from August 20 to August 22, 2026, at the Industrial Production Market in Aleppo, Syria.

The event aims to showcase local products, support producers and skilled workers, encourage commercial activity and help Syrian companies reach new markets.

Ahmad Yassin, a member of Aleppo’s Executive Office for internal trade, said the exhibition was strategically important given Aleppo’s position as a major industrial center in Syria.

He said Sylex 3 aims to revive and support the footwear and leather industry while giving companies a platform to market their products and expand into new markets.

Yassin said previous editions had helped participating companies increase sales and production, adding that Aleppo Governorate would continue supporting the industrial sector.

The exhibition also brings producers, traders and consumers together and creates opportunities for cooperation and investment.

Sylex 3 is showcasing footwear and leather products, equipment and production supplies, with participation from both Syrian and Turkish companies.

With around 60 companies taking part, the event is providing a platform to strengthen business links and support the development of Aleppo’s leather and footwear industry.
