The All African Leather Fair (AALF) has entered into a 5 year strategic partnership with Germany based Trade and Fairs Consulting GmbH (TFC GmbH) and Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd to strengthen the fair’s international presence and expand opportunities for Africa’s leather industry.

The agreement was signed on February 19, 2026, between the Ethiopian Leather Industries Association (ELIA), which owns the AALF brand and intellectual property and the 2 event and market development companies.

Under the partnership, ELIA will retain full ownership of the AALF brand and intellectual property while TFC GmbH and Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd will bring their international expertise in event planning, promotion and market access.

The collaboration will focus on attracting more international buyers and exhibitors to AALF and creating greater export opportunities for African leather manufacturers.

It also aims to strengthen connections between Africa’s leather industry and the global leather value chain.

The partnership marks a new phase for the All African Leather Fair as it looks to expand its international reach and increase the visibility of Africa’s leather manufacturers in global markets.

The 5 year agreement is expected to support the fair’s growth and contribute to greater international recognition for Africa’s leather industry.
