Apex Group Chairman Syed Manzur Elahi Passes Away at 83

Apex group chairman and former government advisor Syed Manzur Elahi has passed away at the age of 83. He breathed his last in a Singapore hospital in the early hours of March 12 after battling age-related health issues.

Syed Manzur Elahi was a well-respected figure in the business world, known for his leadership as the chairman of Apex Group. Over the years, he played a key role in shaping the industrial landscape, particularly in the leather and footwear sectors. His business acumen and contributions to the economy earned him widespread recognition.

Apart from his corporate achievements, he also served as an advisor in Bangladesh’s caretaker government, contributing his expertise in governance and policy-making. His insights and decisions during his tenure helped guide the nation during crucial times.
