Bonaudo has acquired Italian tannery Siva known for upholstery leather manufacturing, expanding its business into luxury design, automotive and nautical applications according to La Conceria.

The acquisition was completed on September 11, 2026, adding Siva’s premium leather production to Bonaudo’s established business in high end footwear, leather goods and apparel. Siva produces leather for luxury automotive interiors and the nautical sector, while also serving the luxury furniture and upholstery market.

Siva’s tanning tradition dates back to the 1930s. The company is now run by the 3rd generation of the Alberio family, which founded the business. Under the acquisition agreement, the family will remain involved in Siva’s management and capital, supporting continuity after the change in control.

The company operates from Galliate, Italy where its production plant and showroom cover 8,000 square metres.

For Bonaudo, the acquisition strengthens its move into luxury design and complements its previous acquisitions of Cafra in 2019 and Conceria Conti in 2022.
