Hermès Reports €4.1 Billion Q1 Revenue with €1.8 Billion Coming from Leather Goods

Hermès reported €4.1 billion in revenue for the first quarter of 2026, up 6% at constant exchange rates but down 1% at current rates due to a €290 million currency impact. The performance reflects growth across key regions and segments.

Leather Goods and Saddlery generated €1.84 billion in revenue, grew 9.4% in Q1. This segment includes women’s and men’s bags, travel items, small leather goods and accessories, saddles, bridles and all equestrian objects and clothing.

Hermès also opened its 25th leather goods workshop in Loupes, with more planned in France in 2027, 2028 and 2030.

By region, Asia remained the largest market with €2.28 billion in revenue, growing 3.5% at constant rates. The Americas delivered €739 million, up 17.2%, while Europe totalled €885 million, growing 4.5%, with €538 million from Europe excluding France up 9.7%.

France recorded €347 million, down 2.8%. Japan generated €404 million, growing 9.6%. The Middle East and other regions reported €160 million, declining 5.9%.

The company also distributed €328 million to employees, including a €3,000 bonus.

Hermès said it remains confident in its long-term growth strategy despite ongoing economic, geopolitical and currency uncertainties.
