Italian Leather Maker Conceria Stefania Acquires Conceria Guerino in Strategic Expansion

The Italian leather industry is witnessing a major shake up as Conceria Stefania has acquired a majority stake in Conceria Guerino. This strategic move aims to solidify their position as premier suppliers to high-end luxury fashion brands.

Both companies have a long-standing history in the leather industry, deeply rooted in family-driven legacies. Conceria Stefania was founded in 1944, while Conceria Guerino was established in 1961. The acquisition was finalized in January 2025.

Conceria Guerino specializes in ovine leather for shoe linings, whereas Conceria Stefania is known for luxury-grade leather for uppers. Now, they are joining forces to expand into leather goods, a move that will be supported by the launch of a dedicated production line.

“This acquisition is a strategic step to broaden our product range and solidify our position as a leading supplier in the luxury leather sector”

stated representatives from Conceria Stefania to Laconceria.it
