They addressed challenges in Nigeria’s leather sector, such as inadequate tannery facilities and livestock-to-hide production ratios, and highlighted government efforts to support young entrepreneurs.
Another panel on “Crafting Winning Strategies for Brand Positioning” featured Tokunboh George-Taylor and Waridi Wardah. They emphasized the importance of finding a unique brand identity for emerging leather entrepreneurs.
The evening concluded with a private cocktail event hosted by Mrs. Femi Olayebi, founder of Lagos Leather Fair and FemiHandbags. The day ended with a runway show featuring designs by AABOUX, Blark Mate, Mhose, Nene Yaya, and FemiHandbags.
