TFL Group Appoints André Lanning as New CEO

TFL Group, a global leader in specialty chemicals for the leather industry, has announced the appointment of André Lanning as its new Group CEO, effective March 1, 2025. He will be succeeding Russ Taylor, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Lanning joins TFL Group from Trinseo, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer. With an impressive track record in executive leadership, he has held key positions, including CEO, Senior Vice President (SVP), and Vice President (VP) at major global companies such as Kemira, Yara International, Nuon, Advanced Refining Technologies (ART), and W.R. Grace.

His extensive experience in market strategy, business transformation, and operational leadership makes him well-equipped to drive TFL’s growth.

As the new CEO, Lanning will prioritize:

  • Strengthening TFL’s market leadership through innovative strategies.
  • Expanding the company’s global footprint and increasing market share.
