The 19th International Exhibition-Fair Leather, Footwear, Accessories, Fur, Wool and Localized Products – UzCharmExpo-EURASIA 2025 concluded at the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent between October 28 to October 30, 2025, highlighting Uzbekistan’s growing presence in the global leather and footwear market.
The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the People’s Bank.
It brought together domestic and international enterprises to showcase their achievements and innovations in leather, footwear and accessories.
More than 30 companies from countries including Italy, Türkiye, Latvia, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Mongolia took part in the exhibition.
They presented a wide variety of products, with special focus on items made by Uzbek manufacturers.
During the official visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to Uzbekistan, the Serbian delegation visited the fair and explored the country’s leather industry products.
The Serbian leader praised the craftsmanship of Uzbek footwear and expressed interest in establishing trade and export ties.
Uzcharmsanoat Association says Serbia is ready to order products from Uzbekistan’s leather industry. The President highly appreciated that the products meet international standards and expressed a desire to import them.
A joint initiative was proposed with the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia to expand cooperation in this direction. This initiative is expected to elevate economic and industrial collaboration between the two nations to a new level.
